Wiki for use by the Reversible Computing Community
The purpose of this wiki, located for now at http://revcomp.jot.com,
is to serve as a resource for sharing of information among members of the
Reversible Computing community. So far, pages on this site
include the following:
- RC-Society: Pages for, by, and about the Reversible Computing Society, which is being founded using this wiki as an organizational tool.
- Purpose: Explains the society's purpose.
- What is RC: A brief explanation of reversible computing for laypeople.
- Why Needed: Explains why we felt that the creation of a society was needed.
- Status: Present status of the society creation effort.
- Discussion: A wiki page "bulletin board" for the purpose of general discussion of reversible computing community news and issues.
- A tentative Proposal to strategically re-brand the field and subject of Reversible Computing under the new name "Non-Destructive Computing."
More to come:
- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about reversible computing.
- Annotated bibliography of reversible-computing literature.
- White papers, technical reports and research memos on RC and related topics.
This wiki is intended to supplement the
Yahoo! group that was created for the community earlier.
Community Members: Please tell others in the community about this page, and link to it from your own websites!
Note to Contributors: At the moment, there is a limit of 10 pages total on this
free wiki, so please don't create a lot of new pages without some discussion
first. Eventually, I may try to migrate this site to a less restrictive hosting arrangement.
